Williamsburg.

When one wakes up to find its 70 degrees outside in October, the day must be spent outside!
I met up with my girl Jodie and we wondered, gossiping, to Mogador on Whythe for brunch, then proceeded to spend the rest of the day exploring our hood. Considering I've lived in Williamsburg almost a decade there is still a lot I have yet to discover, or maybe it is because there is something new popping up every week.
The food fair was still on by The Edge, however I was still too stuffed from brunch, besides I prefer it on sundays when it is a flea market. As we wondered up Kent we stumbled upon a garden centre - who knew you could stock up on your plants on Kent?! It was like a mini oasis in the middle of the 'Burg. One minute we are in Brooklyn, the next we've stepped into an enchanted garden playing old vocal House music which took me back to Ibiza, so I had to sit on one of garden chairs for a minute and 'have a moment'.
From there we were transported to Italy by way of a new restaurant that has just opened on North 6th and Kent called Fabbrica, which is Italian for Factory - paying homage to Williamsburg's industrial history. This spot might be my new favorite, I actually felt like I was in Italy, the coffee was amazing and as much as I'm not a huge cake person, I just love to look! I told Jodie "If you are ever looking for me, you'll probably find me in here"!
We then headed to The Whythe Hotel for some roof top drinks, followed by a stroll down Bedford to the Oyster Bar before parting ways for an hour to freshen up, in which time Natalia made it over and we headed back out, this time to Aura for dinner.

I guess thats what you call a full day of restaurant/cafe/bar hopping. Gotta love my hood!
